Practice Journal

The Sykes Practice Journal includes easy to use tables for students or parents to record what the student should practice for the week. This divided into technical exercises, pieces and other. There is column to record how to practice – the teacher may suggest particular practice strategies for the student. There is also a section on the table to write down homework pages that need to be completed or the definition of new musical terms or concepts. At the front of the book there is also a practice log which students can use to record how much time they spend practicing each week. At the back of the book are manuscript pages for the student and teacher to use to teach or practice music theory, or for the student to write compositions or other music.
