Richard Clayderman Visits Sykes Music
In October 2006, Richard Clayderman to Perth to meet the winner of the Richard Clayderman competition, which was organized by Sykes Music. Clayderman was in Perth on tour. He is a very humble, pleasant person. He was happy to sign his autograph. He was not in rush and took his time. It was lovely to meet him and to have him come and visit our school.

Richard Clayderman Competition
On the 4th of November, 2006 Richard Clayderman performed at the Burswood Theatre. Clayderman invited a young pianist from Western Australia to perform on stage with him. This young pianist was chosen by an audition process which was run by Sykes Music. The auditions were held on the 21st of October at the Sound Centre. The winner was 10 year old Kevin Chow playing a Medley of Don’t Cry For Me Argentina and Gershwin’s Prelude No. 1. Chow performed brilliantly alongside Clayderman at the Burswood. Congratulations to all Sykes Music students who performed exceedingly well at the auditions.
